At the completion of our EMT course the student will obtain a Certificate of Completion allowing the student to take the National Registry Exam for the Emergency Medical Technician B.


Applications are accepted on a continuous basis. Seating is limited and enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 30 students. There are no more than 30 students in a class, thus providing a more intimate and positive learning environment.   • Must be at least 17 1/2 years of age upon enrollment.

  • Have either a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Background Check

  • Possess a current American Heart Association BLS/CPR Card.**

  • Recent Physical Examination

  • Must have the following immunizations current within the last 6 months:

    • Hepatitis B

    • MMR (measles, mumps, Rubella)

    • TB Test

    • 2 doses of VARICELLA vaccine (or history of chicken pox)

    • TDAP Vaccine

Course Description

This program is designed to give the student the skills and knowledge to function as a working Emergency Medical Technician at the basic level and to facilitate the passing of the National Registry Exam. The program is intended for those who want to gain employment as a firefighter, emergency care technician at a hospital and Ambulance driver or attendant. It is also for those individuals who are planning on attempting to obtain a higher level of medical training such as RN, PA or MD as an enhancement for the competitive application process for those professions.

               9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Skills Day - Wenesday 

               9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Course Hours Include

  • Didactic & Skills: 190 Hours

  • Field 24 hrs. & ER Clinical 36 hrs. = 60 Hours

  • Total Training Hours = 250 Hours
